Gretsch 6122 Country Classic I
Chet Atkins himself helped for the design of this guitar, it's no surprise that it sounds great when playing western swing or finger-picking style... A pure and perfectly balanced sound, a prodigious sustain where the notes don't change in tone, a very delicate vibrato with no aggressivity, we have here all the ingredients to provide fingers of both hands a fantastic playground. For several years now, Gretsch guitars are manufactured in Japan, which does not make them worse than older Americans. This one belongs to the beginning of this new generation and was built in 1989.
